The challenge
Vitalis ran 150+ workloads on aging EC2 instances with manual deployments, no autoscaling and fear of change in a heavily regulated environment. Deployments took hours and required weekend maintenance windows.
How we fixed it
We built a multi-account EKS foundation with GitOps (ArgoCD), migrated workloads using a validated blue/green pattern, implemented Istio for mTLS, and automated compliance scanning. HIPAA controls were mapped and continuously verified.
